Professional development courses (PDCs) are offered before (May 20-21) and after (May 25) the conference. These courses are formalized learning experiences that, through in-depth instruction by field experts, enhance technical competence and provide practical tools and skills for the modern workplace. *Pre-registration required; additional fee.

Education Sessions make up the majority of the main conference (May 22-24). These invaluable sessions combine limitless enrichment opportunities with a wealth of high-quality knowledge and expertise in every IH/OH niche. Delivered in any format from traditional lecture, interactive problem solving, and more attendees are encouraged to participate in lively dialogue to create an engaging education experience.

Research Roundups are part of the main conference education program. These sessions are a combination of paired Case Studies and Scientific Research presentations addressing a similar topic area.

General Sessions bring all the conference attendees together. These sessions are held Monday morning of the main conference, and Wednesday afternoon. Hear speakers who will bring you new insights, see presentations that will ignite your understanding, and share in recognizing the accomplishments of members.

Interactive Learning are engaging sessions that actively involve the participants in a variety of ways. These sessions take place during the main conference, and include demos, mock interviewing, speed networking, wellness activities, and many more!

Pop-Up Education Sessions are short and interactive designed to deliver bitesize, timely, targeted learning. These sessions are held outside of session rooms, in an open area of the convention center and include wellness activities.

Student Presentations are one-hour sessions, where students present their research as part of the Academic Track. 

Poster Sessions offer students and OEHS professionals the opportunity to display their research and generate discussion and feedback.

Learning Pavilion Sessions are one-hour sessions hosted by our industry partners. These education-focused presentations may feature research, development, technology, and case studies that address the daily challenges faced by our profession.

Exhibitor Innovation Station Sessions offer the opportunity to learn more on the Expo floor. These brief, informative presentations by our outstanding exhibitors are where their most recent products and innovations that support the work of industrial hygienists and EHS professionals are revealed.
