Description

This presentation will outline root causes of an accident that occurred while contractors were applying a corrosion coating in an electric utility penstock.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, the participant will be able to:

• Identify the hazards of applying corrosion coatings in confined spaces.
• Assess the impact of surface temperatures on quality of installing coatings.
• Discuss the impact of failure to properly set up air sampling.
