Description

Communicating the importance and value of occupational, environmental, health, and safety (OEHS) programs and strategies is not always easy. However, few skills are as valuable for OEHS professionals as they are responsible for implementing and assessing the success of effective health and safety programs. It is critical for OEHS professionals to effectively communicate regulatory requirements, gaps and strategies for intervention, and the all-important impact on the business' bottom line. This education pop-up session will provide guidance on how to align your organization's existing metrics and needs while collaborating with stakeholders to provide effective and sustainable OEHS programs and solutions.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, the participant will be able to:

• Explain the key principles of OEHS communications.
• Use effective strategies for aligning OEHS communications with an organization's needs and metrics.
• Leverage tools and techniques to enhance stakeholder engagement in OEHS programs and improvements.
• Measure and assess the impact of communication strategies on program success.
