Description

Safety teams benefit from an awareness of available wellness programs. Working together with wellness program providers, we can leverage their expertise and resources holistically to enhance workplace wellness, job satisfaction, and safety.

During this pop-up, we will illustrate ways we've implemented this integration and discuss effective strategies, some challenges we've encountered along the way, and different global approaches. Areas we will explore include establishing a collaborative framework of responsibilities, fostering open communications, streamlining incident reporting and response (both from safety and wellness perspectives), and implementing joint programs to educate employees on safety protocols and wellness initiatives.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, the participant will be able to:

· Describe benefits that can be realized when Safety collaborates with wellness program providers.

· Recognize roadblocks these efforts may encounter.

· Develop ideas for leveraging existing wellness programs at their company into new safety initiates.

Facilitate a conversation with leadership about how this partnership can improve employee satisfaction, retention, and how workplace wellness is perceived.
