This presentation will cover the basic topics of the ESH professional and ethics. Topics to be presented include: guiding principles versus Code of Ethics; how professionals use a Code; the history of ethics, the international Code of Ethics, and Joint Ethics Principles.
This session will fulfill the CIH ethics requirements for certification and recertification.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to:
• Compare guiding principles versus H&S Code of Ethics.
• Discuss how H&S professionals use ethics.
• Review the history of the practice of Ethics.
• Examine the International Code of Ethics and Joint Ethics Principles.
