Description

Best practices for modern IH programs include the use of statistical tools and approaches in the analysis of exposure data. Without them, our professional judgment is often wrong. How do you choose from the number of different tools and approaches that can be used. This session will present three common tools: IHSTAT, Bayesian, and EN689. The pros and cons of each and practical recommendations with respect to when and how to apply the tools will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, the participant will be able to:

• Describe the pros and cons of statistical tools for IH data.
• Identify the output of a statistical approach for a given exposure scenario.
• Determine which approach(es) are best for their exposure scenario(s).
