Description

The implementation of new technology and safety programs faces barriers and challenges. Common barriers are: a) employee concerns of being monitored; b) lack of trust; c) feelings that the new program is temporary; and d) low employee engagement. Focusing on creating a culture of trust leads to successful acceptance and continuation of safety programs and emerging technology. This session will: 1) identify the lessons learned from deployment of technology and total employee health programs; 2) provide the keys to success by using strategies to create a culture of trust and acceptance; and 3) discuss programs that are sustainable, scalable, and successful.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, the participant will be able to:

• Identify strategies to create a culture of acceptance.
• Prepare for program implementation with employee psychology in mind.
• Identify resistance to change.
• Integrate change management techniques in the new programs.
