Description

Turnarounds (TA) vary in complexity, where construction and maintenance activities occur. Thus, providing opportunities for Occupational Hygienists (OHs) to reinforce workplace health goals. TA Planning presents various challenges at different project stages that can add delays and increase costs if not properly managed. Working alongside Operations is crucial to execute the work safely, effectively, and within budget. In this PDC, critical phases of a TA will be explored where the OH must recognize, evaluate, and control potential exposures, which ultimately contribute value to an organization. Three case studies will be used to practice learning, use resource materials, and generate dialogue and sharing.

*Registration includes boxed luncheon. **Power strips will not be provided at each attendee's seat; however, laptop charging stations will be provided in each course room.
