PDC 902: Leading During Times of Change – NEW!
Thu, 5/22: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT
P902
Professional Development Course
Kansas City Convention Center
CM Credit Hours: 3.5
The only thing we can be certain of is that things will change. Leading during times of change is the order of the day. Unlike the precise processes of the scientific world, leading people through change demands adaptability, emotional intelligence, and genuine human connection. When leading people during change, you must get to know each person at the appropriate level and find ways to connect and engage with them as one size will not fit all in this situation. It is leveraging emotional intelligence, empathy and humility to be effective when leading through change. Leading during times of change requires understanding that nothing changes until you are willing to face change. As you lead through change, it is knowing when to pivot, push forward, or pause. Change leadership is not an exact science. It is a marathon, not a sprint.
*Please note: Only participants registering for two (2) half-day PDCs on the same day will receive a box lunch. **Please note: power strips will not be provided at each attendee's seat; however, charging stations for laptops will be provided in each course room.
