Description

When most people think of chemicals in a large medical institution, their minds go straight to clinical labs, research settings, or pharmaceuticals. Yet an entirely different world of chemicals operates quietly behind the scenes-powering the systems that keep the hospital running. From water treatment to diesel generators, and everything in between, the safe management of large-scale hazardous materials is critical. Where OSHA standards, NFPA requirements, and building codes intersect, the challenge is clear: how do we protect employees, patients, visitors, and infrastructure, while ensuring a complex hospital system operates without interruption? In this environment, lives are not just depending on medical care, they depending on the safe and seamless operation of these unseen chemical systems.
