Description

As EPA intensifies its review of existing chemicals under TSCA, organizations must evolve from reactive compliance to proactive influence. This session presents a unified strategy that integrates EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Regulatory Affairs, and Governmental Affairs to manage chemical risk effectively.

Participants will explore how Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI for data visualization and Power Automate for workflow automation, can be used to track EPA developments, streamline internal communications, and support cross-functional decision-making. Scalable communication strategies will be shared to help teams of any size align stakeholders and ensure expert input is captured and acted upon.

To reinforce learning, the session will incorporate interactive polls, real-world problem-solving exercises, and practical applications that demonstrate how digital tools and collaborative approaches can be used to evaluate EPA findings and shape organizational responses. These elements will ensure participants leave with actionable insights that can be immediately applied in their own OEHS environments-whether in small businesses or large corporations.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, the participant will be able to:
• Evaluate EPA's existing chemical framework under TSCA to identify key regulatory touchpoints relevant to OEHS functions.
• Design cross-functional collaboration among EHS, IH, Regulatory, and Governmental Affairs to ensure unified risk management strategies.
• Apply effective communication strategies to align internal stakeholders and influence external regulatory outcomes.
• Coordinate expert input across disciplines to critically assess EPA risk determinations and develop organizational responses.
• Demonstrate how proactive engagement with EPA processes can shift organizational posture from compliance to influence.
