OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA's Risk Management Program (RMP) share much of their regulatory framework. The overlap between PSM and RMP core elements are so great, businesses can often comply with both regulations by utilizing the same implementation and programmatic documents. This synergy allows Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Safety professional to streamline compliance points and integrate programmatic requirements to implement a unified PSM/RMP program.
This session provides the Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Safety professional tools for integrating these two very similar regulatory programs. Discussion highlights the similarities and differences in the PSM and RMP regulations and focuses on areas for potential integration. Integrating aspects of PSM and RMP into facility operations break barriers, strengthens programs, and streamlines compliance points while supporting good business practices.
