This course provides attendees with an understanding of the health and safety hazards found in post-fire environments. It helps identify when and where toxic gases, vapors and particulates may be present, along with the dangers these substances pose and other related hazards.

Participants will gain insight into the importance of using personal protective equipment in post-fire settings, including proper respiratory protection and practical safety strategies to reduce risk and exposure.

*Note: This PDC will be conducted in Zoom. Please ensure the computer on which you will participate will allow Zoom to access all necessary computer systems including speakers, microphone, and camera.*
