This professional development course on developmental and reproductive toxicology, or DART, provides an overview of key occupational considerations and the challenges employers face when managing pregnant employees. Topics include:

• A risk management framework for reproductive health and pregnant workers
• Nonclinical DART testing and classification during pregnancy

• Risk management strategies, policies and regulatory compliance

Attendees should have a basic understanding of toxicology.
This course provides attendees with the scientific foundation to assess occupational factors that contribute to DART risks. It also offers tools to help implement workplace reproductive health protection policies in collaboration with medical professionals, human resources, toxicologists and labor representatives.
