The ability to communicate risk effectively—with clarity, brevity and empathy—can be a game changer. Proficiency in risk communication can determine whether hazards are managed efficiently, interim safeguards are put in place, the media portrays hazardous situations accurately, leaders take the right actions, workers and the public trust their leaders, and crises are avoided or managed successfully.
This course follows the typology for risk communication defined by Dr. Peter Sandman.
*Registration includes boxed luncheon. **Power strips will not be provided at each attendee's seat; however, laptop charging stations will be provided in each course room.
