How quickly can you spot a silent killer? Despite decades of regulation, unrecognized atmospheric hazards remain one of the leading causes of confined space deaths. In this interactive session, we move beyond the manual and into the field. Bring your thinking caps and your fastest reflexes to compete in a real-time, quiz-style exploration of case studies. We'll test your ability to identify unexpected hazards under pressure, with a special recognition for the participant who proves they have the sharpest safety instincts in the room.
Upon completion the participant will be able to:
• Identify hazardous air contaminants that can unexpectedly be present in confined spaces.
• List controls that can be implemented to safely address entry for work in these confined spaces.
