This presentation describes a simple way today's busy IH practitioner can efficiently address the new AIHA Principles of Good Practice in Exposure Assessment. Personal Monitoring badges provide a cost-effective and convenient way to collect representative personal samples to assess exposures within each SEG (Similar Exposure Group). When the collected monitoring data are entered into the IH Data Analyst (provided by AIHA), this software program provides graphic outputs that inform the IH of the statistical probability that the SEG's 95th percentile exposures lies within each of 5 possible Exposure Bands: NO / LOW / MEDIUM / BORDERLINE / ABOVE THE OEL. Participants will observe how this overall Exposure Assessment process, including monitoring, data entry, and review can be readily completed by a typical practitioner with minimal experience and theoretical knowledge.
